Your Design Bill Shouldn't Give You Sticker Shock

I believe in upfront pricing. All general pricing guidelines are listed here. Each custom project might have unique costs associated with is but I will always give you a written quote for your personalize project before work begins. If changes are required during the progress of the project, I will give you an additional quote for these services if there will be a change in price. My goal is your satifaction at a price you can afford.

 

 

Website Pricing

Website Design & Creation

  • averages about $85 per page

This is an average price for a normal page that includes:

  • the custom site design or style with a header graphic and navigation
  • preparation of images and graphic elements for site
  • your provided text content
  • up to 3 additional graphics, images or downloadable Adobe pdf documents
  • upload of website to web hosting
  • search engine promotion
  • 3 months of free minor content updates

Depending on your requirements this price might vary but, as always, you will be provided a quote before work begins. Additional Services

Placement on your website is included in the cost below during the original site design and creation process.

  • $10 per additional graphic or image required on a page.
  • $49 per autorun flash slideshow.
    Once assembled and created, a slideshow can be placed on one or multiple pages of your site depending on your needs. Includes up to 10 images. Additional images $5 each.
  • $34 per browsable photo gallery.
    The photo gallery is assembled and the photo thumbnail selection is placed on one of your website pages. Each photo gallery has a photo thumbnails section and back/forward browsing through the full-sized image gallery pages. Image gallery pages are plain webpages with a color-coordinated background and are included in this price. Includes up to 12 images. Additional images $2.50 each.
  • $59 per video clip.
    Video clips are converted to flash file format, placed in a video player interface with play controls and placed on website (there are limits on file size). Longer video clips can be converted and uploaded for play in Windows Media Player.
  • $49 per online form or comment form.
    A form or application integrated into your web page that asks the questions you would like or adds a customer comment form. Each custom online form includes the client contact information (name and contact info) and up to 10 questions. Additional questions are $1.50 each. Forms are filled out and submitted online by your customer and the data is emailed to you.
  • $10 per client downloadable document.
    Your documents are converted to Adobe pdf file format and place on website for client download. Documents are opened and read with the widely available and free Adobe Reader. Your documents must be received in electronic format (Word or .txt). Additional handling fees apply for paper documents.
  • $29 per interactive downloadable form, application or survey.
    These custom-made interactive forms are created in the Adobe pdf file format. These documents can be downloaded by a client, filled in using their computer keyboard and saved. Your client can then choose to email the data back to you as an attachment or print and deliver the form via fax or mail. Each form includes your logo letterhead, requested client contact information (name and contact info) and up to 10 questions. Additional questions $1 each. Forms are opened and read with the widely available and free Adobe Reader.
  • $25 per hour for text editing or copywriting of site content

Domain Names

  • $20 per domain name

Most hosting packages include a free domain name in their price. If you already have hosting but require another domain name, I can obtain that for you. Includes researching and acquiring a domain name registered in your name. Applies to .com, .net and .org domain names. Other domain names might require additional charges. Domain names are renewed annually for $12 for most domain names.

 

Web Hosting

  • $99 annually for Managed Hosting by Valerie Ayars Designs

Includes researching and acquiring hosting space and a domain name. This affordable option is beneficial for customers who do not want to worry about having to access their site for updating and maintenance. I will manage your site by making sure your hosting and domain name is renewed with no laps in service. When you need updates in content or layout on your site, just call me for a quote and it will all be handled!

 

  • $59 hosting/domain name research and setup

You want to be in control of your own hosting package but you don't have a lot of knowledge about hosting. I will research and recommend a hosting package for you based on your specific needs, including domain name availability. Once you have purchased the plan and provided me with access, I will perform all of the initial setup required to prepare your hosting for your site including pop email account setup. Once your website is completed, I will install your site on the server space. After the site is installed, you are in complete control, have complete access to the technical aspects of your site and are responsible for ensuring hosting and domain name renewal.

 

As always, you can set up your own hosting and domain name. You will need to give Valerie Ayars Designs a FTP user name and password for access to your server space so that I can upload your completed site.

 

Example

A standard Website of 5 pages hosted by Valerie Ayars Designs will cost $524
$425 for the site, and $99 for one year of hosting

Each subsequent year will cost $99 to maintain the hosting and domain name. Any desired content updates and changes are charged at the hourly rate.

 

Site Maintenance and Update

Keeping content fresh and up to date on your website is important, especially for businesses. This includes adding new informative content, removing old or outdated information, keeping links current and adding/changing product images and other content. Let me take care of your site maintenance and take the headache out of site updates!

  • $20 per hour for changes to text content and updating links.
  • $40 per hour for adding or changing images and other media content such as those listed in the additional services above.

Updates do not cover major site redesign or changes if required to place content as desired by the client. Nor do updates cover the repair of the site in the event the client or an agent of the client has damaged, deleted or added to the original site code. These services will be charged at the normal design rate of $65 per hour which covers major page design changes after final site approval.

 

 

Graphic & Print Design Pricing

Brand Your Company

Services include unique logo design and creating original documents for your business that include your logo and/or marketing slogan!

 

  • $65 per hour for logo design and other graphic work
  • $25 per hour for business document assembly
  • $25 per hour for text editing or copywriting of document content

 

 

Computer Mainenance and Repair Prices

Complete Computer Tune-up

$99 - Includes diagnostics, old file and program clean-up, virus/spyware removal, optimization & required updates.

 

Virus/Spyware Removal

$80 - A comprehensive cleaning that will typically remove virus and spyware issues. Includes the installation or update of virus and spyware removal programs.

 

Hardware Installation

Starting at $35 - Installation of one new piece of hardware is $35. Any additional hardware pieces installed at same time are an additional $20 each.

 

Other Services

$25 per hour - Includes services such as general computer diagnosis and repair, software installation and setup, installing or configuring wireless setups, connecting to the internet, etc. Just call me to discuss your needs.

 

Computer Training

  • $20 per hour for personalized training on your desired topic of learning
  • $12 per person per hour for small group training on a desired topic of learning
    (group size: min of 2 & max of 5)
